DeAngelis Business Development, Inc. was founded to help companies grow inside and out. Our founder, Stan DeAngelis, has over 25 years experience in strategically leading company growth. He has founded, grown and sold two other successful service companies - (an Architectural Firm and a Leadership and Business Development Company) and was part of the executive team that grew a third company - (an International Architecture and Interior Design Firm). Having this time-tested experience, he fully understands how to creatively blend vision, strategy, and finance. He also knows how to skillfully use marketing, networking, relationship building, and contact management to create the conditions for sales success and company growth. He has done this many times before for both himself and others. He now brings this experience and knowledge to DeAngelis Business Development, Inc.
Mr. DeAngelis’ 35 year history in the design and construction industry gives him a unique understanding of that industry and what it takes to get their attention. He knows the people, understands their needs and mindset, and knows how to reach them. During his career he has built an impressive network of contacts in the industry and in the business community. He has helped several companies grow successfully and would like to be your strategic business development partner.
The second company that Mr. DeAngelis founded and sold has a ten year history of helping companies create shared visions of their futures, engage their employees in those visions and focus on their business goals. Stanley P. DeAngelis, AIA, President & CEO.
Mr. DeAngelis founded DeAngelis Business Development, Inc. In January of 2009 out of his desire to use his gifts to help others develop and grow their companies. As a talented entrepreneur and trained listener, Stanley is able to capture the essence of what his clients want to say about their companies and state it in a powerful and straight forward manner. With his natural people skills he is able to make most others feel at ease as he gains their trust. People naturally what to work with him and those he recommends. Stanley is a registered architect with over 35 years in the design and construction industry and has experienced the design and construction process from every point of view: as Architect, Contractor, and Owner. This gives him a unique and thorough prospective of the industry.
Mr. DeAngelis founded, grew and sold two service companies prior to starting DeAngelis Business Development, Inc. He founded WorkPlace Dynamics, Inc. in 1998, based on his core belief that everyone has a special gift to contribute to his or her home, workplace and community and that it's the organization's role to create an environment that recognizes these gifts and allows them to flourish. He started WorkPlace Dynamics, Inc. after seeing the power that his workplace philosophies had unleashed in his former company, Vision III Architects. As founding partner and CEO he took that firm in 10 years, from the basement of his home to the 7th fastest growing company in RI, employing 30 people with annual billings of over $3.8 million. He sold it in 1998 to pursue his dream of helping other business owners unleash the energy in their companies.
He attributes his success to the varied programs he was able to implement within the companies he’s owned to develop and fully engage his employees and increase the customer base. His workplace philosophies along with the programs he instituted had a direct and extremely positive impact on the growth of these companies.
A nationally renowned speaker, author, creator of WorkPlace Dynamics’ “Uniting - The Engagement Process”™ and co-creator of the “Emerging Leaders” program, Stanley has over 25 years of experience in creating results for companies. He has created successful strategies for high performing teams and companies including his own. He is able to engage the people he is leading whether it is as the leader of the company, a coach, or as the trainer for another company's team. Stanley brings a unique perspective to the business development field with his hands on approach. With his background in architecture, organizational design, workflow design, leadership development and facilitation, he inspires people by working with their organizations to help them engage their employees, refine their strategy, increase their sales and accomplish the same level of success that he has achieved.
As CEO of DeAngelis Business Development, Inc., Stanley’s responsibilities include: business development, strategic vision, assessing client needs, delineating the needs to be addressed, developing customized strategies and programs to deliver the desired results, and delivering those programs. He evaluates the end-results and implements on-going continuance and improvement plans that can be self-administered or administered by DeAngelis Business Development. He writes, creates, and implements business development plans, employee engagement workshops, presentations, and publications.
Stanley holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Case Western Reserve University and is a registered architect; member of NCARB and AIA. His professional resume can be downloaded here.
